Data Engineer• September 2022 - Present
I am tasked with building pipelines for parsing data, 38+ Billion records from open source databases, combo lists, scraped data, marketing lists, transaction data, etc I program scripts to clean and analyze billions of records to create Personal Identifiable Data (PID) datasets. I further optimize development by building automation scripts for several processes including SQL and CSV parsing. I have streamlined development and data analysis to achieve the most effective and efficient workflow.

It has always been my dream to start my own company. For a very long time I have been procrastinating on doing so, until now. I recently pitched a product we are building to investors and we have secured a funding round. I am currently working on the product's development, and possibly have a beta version of the product ready for public testing before year end.

I was brought on board as a fullstack developer to work on the extension of a Django Rest API for one of Zimbabwe's biggest medical AID companies. I applied my expertise in the development of the four frontend applications for the medical aid. My day-to-day tasks involved writing code for the several applications in development, I also wrote documentation and application architecture.

I started off as a software engineering intern and I was promoted to Lead Software Developer after 9 months for having proved myself as reliable, dependable and skilled. I led a team of three developers tasked with various application development. We worked with several tools and technology stacks encompassing JavaScript, React, Postman, Dialogflow, Nodejs to name just a few.

After completing the 6 week coding boot camp with Emzini We Code, I proved myself as a skillful programmer and therefore I was recruited as a Teaching Assistant where I work alongside some of the smartest people in my cohort who study in big name schools such as Stanford University, Northwestern University, Bryn Mawr University, MIT and Alabama State University.
In my 4 years of experience I have used many tools depending on the problem at hand. I have varying degrees of experience with different technologies and stacks.
